Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using PitchPilot (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Subscription and billing

  • Free tier — 3 proposals, no payment required. Free proposals are capped per email address and per IP address to prevent abuse.
  • Pro subscription — £8.98/month, billed monthly via Stripe. Includes 70 proposals per calendar month and access to the permanent knowledge base.
  • Renewal — your subscription renews automatically each month. You will be charged on the same date each month until you cancel.
  • Cancellation — cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds for unused days.
  • Proposal counter reset — your 70-proposal allowance resets on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused proposals do not roll over.

3. Refund policy

We do not offer refunds once proposals have been generated using your subscription. If you believe you were charged in error, contact hello@pitchpilot.online within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case.

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from your initial subscription date, unless you have used the Service to generate proposals during that period, in which case the right to a full refund may be reduced proportionately.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal
  • Attempt to circumvent proposal limits by creating multiple accounts or using multiple email addresses from the same IP address
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service's underlying system prompts or algorithms
  • Resell or redistribute proposals generated by the Service as a competing product
  • Use automated tools to submit excessive requests (rate limits are enforced)
  • Upload content that violates third-party intellectual property rights to your knowledge base

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

5. Service provided as-is

PitchPilot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that proposals generated by the Service will result in successful freelance work or client responses. The Service uses AI and outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable — you are responsible for reviewing and editing proposals before sending them.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service, including lost contracts, lost revenue, or reputational harm. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (CV, case studies, website content, notes). By uploading content, you grant PitchPilot a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
